I think I'm going to start this wonderful entity up again. Currently, it's 1:30 am, I'm about to listen to a This American Life podcast episode featuring Ira Glass discussing the ambiguities of superpowers. It's from 2001. I'm also must finish up K. Vonnegut's Jailbird for American Lit this week. And, no, I do not usually indulge in this much Americana. Promise to actually update this so that it has a purpose. It's only a outlet for late night, half thought out musings.
As per tradition, enjoy this magnificent video, those of you taking the time to read this drivel. Love you all to bits.

It's 4 am.
..and I'm writing my first blog post. Why am I doing this now, when I have a multitude of other pressing and importing life responsibilities? Because it's 4 am, and I'm still up, which shows my general disregard for the decisions I need to make the next day. Why not make the most of it?
That aside, I thought I'd begin the ever so arduous task of explaining a bit about myself. I'm a university student (human geography major. supp) in an undisclosed location (mysterious, innit?) who is fed up with boring her friends with trivial fact rants and bursts of knowledge. Yes, bursts. Seriously, they've stopped returning my texts.. (I also use brackets.)
I have an obsessive interest in politics, history, music, books, public policy, transportation, europe, food, the oxford comma, etc etc.
I'd like this blog to be my meal ticket to retiremennt in Provence, a la Peter Mayle. I may abandon this blogging medium with the popular Tumblr medium.
Here's a video to help you fall asleep. Night, folks.
